Dwyane Wade"Flash" was selected 5th in the 2003 NBA Draft after Lebron James, Darko Milicic, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Bosh. Other interesting information:
- In July 2006 Dwyane Wade signed a 5-year contract extension with the Heat which means he will be wearing a Miami uniform through the 2010-11 season.
- It seems that Shaquille O'Neal finally found his ideal co-superstar in Dwyane Wade, after feuding with Penny Hardaway in Orlando and with Kobe Bryant in the Lakers. Whether it is because Flash shows respect for Shaq and doesn't seem to care to share the stardom or because Shaq is accepting that time runs for everybody and he needs a bigger star next to him if he wants to win more championships, the thing is that at least today, they look like the perfect couple.
